The University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health invites applications for a tenure-track position targeting translational and clinically relevant functional brain imaging research related to geriatric cognitive disorders such as Alzheimer’s disease (AD).

Candidates should hold a PhD or MD in a relevant discipline and have experience in conducting clinically relevant multidisciplinary brain imaging research. Candidates should demonstrate an ability to conduct a program of scholarly research, and possess a strong track record of peer-reviewed publications and either active funding or potential for external funding. Based upon qualifications and experience, academic appointment will be made in an appropriate department at the UW with a joint appointment at the adjacent VA Med Center.

The UW has extensive resources and expertise in neuroscience research including the Wisconsin Alzheimer's Disease Research Center (W-ADRC), an interdisciplinary program supporting research related to the neurobiology, biomarkers of the preclinical stages and treatment of AD.  Extensive resources are available to support all aspects of clinical research in dementia as well as methodological and translational imaging science.
